Preparation
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for one week before treatment.
- Stop retinoids, exfoliating acids and benzoyl peroxide three to five days before.
- Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, sunscreen, lotions or oils.
- Stay well hydrated before your appointment.
- Inform your provider about any recent cosmetic procedures or medical conditions.
Aftercare
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs for 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
- Do not apply ice directly to the treated area.
- Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser.
- Avoid harsh exfoliants or active skincare for one week.
- Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily.
Questions About HIFU Skin Tightening
Most clients experience mild warmth or tingling during treatment. Discomfort is minimal and generally well tolerated.
